According to the English newspaper, 'Los Blancos' are looking to bolster their options between the sticks. The question is - who will it be?
The two options that arise time and time agin are De Gea and Courtois. 'The Telegraph' claims that Madrid will pick their target in April when they will launch their campaign to sign one of the star keepers.
The club from the Spanish capital are still insisting the Belgian shot-stopper holds off signing a new contract at Chelsea until April. The ex-Atletico man is yet to put pen to paper.
Following Tuesday's 1-1 with Barcelona, the Belgian defended Chelsea whilst at the same time proclaiming his love for Madrid.
"I'm not clear about my future, what I said that my heart is in Madrid was misunderstood. I have two children in Spain, in Madrid, and that's not easy," said Courtois.
"I do not think Florentino Perez calls me, he will call my agent and he will listen to him," he added, not ruling out a return to the capital.
De Gea is Madrid's other option. The Spaniard once again donned a superhero cape to ensure a clean sheet in the Champions League against Sevilla on Wednesday night. Madrid have already shown keen interest in United's No.1, failing to finalise a move for him last Summer.
United's manager Jose Mourinho, however, insists his goalkeeper is not for sale. The Portuguese is willing to do anything to keep De Gea as a 'Red Devil.'
At the moment, we can only speculate as to who the next Galactico will be. Come April, all eyes will be on Madrid.
