The Argentine put pen to paper on a new five-year deal earlier this week after being given assurances about the direction the club is moving in and is now reportedly planning a summer of spending.
According to the aformentioned source, Manchester United forward Anthony Martial, Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt and Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon are the three player Pochettino is eyeing as he looks to build a squad capable of competing for the Premier League title.
De Ligt and Sessegnon, both 18, are considered two of the brightest talents in their respective countries, with the former already a full Netherlands international and the latter having scored 15 Championship goals for the 'Cottagers' this season.
Martial, meanwhile is known to have been a long term target for Spurs, who are hoping to take advantage of the Frenchman's slip down the pecking order following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January.
