Arda Turan wants to sign for Boca Juniors

According to 'TyC Sports', Arda Turan is interested in signing for Boca Juniors. The 33-year-old has just ended his loan with Turkish outfit Istanbul Basaksehir.

The player still belongs to Barcelona and is under contract until 30th June 2020. But he is nowhere near Quique Setién's plans.

The attacker always declared himself a fan of Diego Maradona, so sympathy with Boca seems to come hand in hand. In fact, his willingness to come is the biggest factor in his signing, as he wasn't in Barca's plans.

Turan has been a very controversial figure in Turkey and has left football in his country with more pain than glory. His last controversial incident was when he was sentenced to 32 months in jail for setting fire in a hospital.
